Vintage Head Sculpture

Vintage handmade clay sculpture of an African American man. Nicely executed with fine facial details. Probably an art class project or similar endeavor; the bust appears to be formed with air-dry clay. Rich maroonish-brown acrylic paint and gloss finish.

Measures about 10" tall x 7" wide. It is about 9" deep from his chin to the back of his head.

Found in eastern Ohio

Fine vintage condition with no cracks or breaks. Some very minor paint crackling and loss commensurate with age. There is some very minor chipping and discoloration around the base edge. There is a small area hidden under his rear hairline which was unpainted. Heavy and sturdy.
